Python, Leviathan, Rahab, the Greek sea god Triton, and even a squid. Jennifer LeClaire’s The Spiritual Warrior’s Guide to Defeating Water Spirits names them all as marine demons working near bodies of water. What does Scripture actually say about these figures?

ABOUT THIS EPISODE
At The Remnant Radio, Josh, Michael, and Michael take the demonic seriously. We pray for people and cast out demons, and we do it biblically. That’s why sensational spiritual warfare teaching bothers us. People end up more afraid of the enemy than confident in Christ.

In this live review, we take LeClaire’s water spirits book back to Scripture and weigh its claims against the text. Bring your questions to the chat as we talk through how to tell sound teaching on the demonic from hype, and what deliverance ministry looks like when it starts with the text rather than the thrill.
