RemCon Fall 2026
Prophecy & Hearing God's Voice | Oct 1-3 | Houston, TX

Have you ever felt like your hunger for the Holy Spirit made you a liability at your church, but the places that welcomed that hunger were a little too unhinged from Scripture?
We've seen it. One choice is a church culture that has decided the prophetic gifts are no longer for today. The other choice is a space where prophecy seems to be active, but it isn't held accountable to anything, including Scripture. The word of the prophet functions like a divine override on your life, and questions are a sign of weak faith.
A lot of us know exactly what it feels like to be caught between those two opposites. We're hungry for the Word, hungry for the Spirit, and unsure where to find a community that takes both seriously. That's why RemCon exists.
What Is RemCon? (The Short Version)
The Remnant Conference is three days of serious biblical teaching, corporate worship, prayer ministry, and hands-on opportunities to step out in the gifts of the Spirit. No hype or performance. RemCon is an authentic, biblically-grounded, accountable space where people who care about Word and Spirit can grow together.
RemCon Fall 2026 "Prophecy & God's Voice" takes place October 1–3 in Houston, TX, with both in-person and livestream options available.
Why "Prophecy & Hearing God's Voice"?
Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 5:19–21: "Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good." (ESV) That's a both/and. Don't shut the gift down and also don't receive every word uncritically. Test it.
That same tension shows up in 1 Corinthians 14:1 "Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy" and in 1 Corinthians 14:29, where Paul says, "Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said."
The Bible doesn't give us cessationism. But it doesn't give us unaccountable prophetic chaos either. It gives us a pattern: pursue the gift, walk in the gift, weigh the gift.
That's what we want to teach at RemCon 2026. We're NOT interested in how to manufacture a prophetic experience. Rather, we want to look to Scripture to learn how to actually grow in hearing God's voice and how to steward that responsibly.
What Happens at RemCon?
Teaching sessions built for people who want theological depth alongside genuine Spirit-led ministry. Expect Scripture-rich discussions with study guides provided.
Corporate worship that creates space for the body of Christ to encounter God together.
Demonstration and faith-building opportunities to experience prophecy from the stage and also structured time for attendees to step out in prophetic giftings in a safe, accountable environment. No worries if you've never done this before, you'll have guidance.
Prayer ministry with a trained team available throughout the conference.
And every registrant receives one full year access to the session recordings, so you can go back, study, and share what you learned.
Who Is Speaking at RemCon 2026?
Joshua Lewis is the founder of The Remnant Radio and pastor of King's Fellowship in Ada, Oklahoma. He's been teaching on Word and Spirit theology for years, and his approach to the prophetic is careful, exegetically grounded, and genuinely pastoral.
Michael Rowntree co-hosts The Remnant Radio and serves as pastor of Convergence Church OKC. He's one of the clearest voices in the radical middle, deeply committed to sound theology and to the ongoing reality of the gifts of the Spirit.
Michael Miller co-hosts The Remnant Radio and is pastor of Reclamation Church in Denver, Colorado. He travels internationally, teaching and equipping people in the radical middle of Word & Spirit. You may have seen him on podcasts such as Blurry Creatures & The Deep End with LaCrae.
JonMark Baker is the host of the Minor Prophets Podcast, Spiritual Life Director at Roots Church in the metro-Detroit area, and an author who has thought carefully and practically about the prophetic. He'll bring a perspective that complements and sharpens everything the Remnant Radio hosts are teaching.
Who Should Come to RemCon?
If you've found yourself theologically homeless, caught between a church that doesn't believe in the gifts anymore and a community where there's no real accountability, this conference is for you.
If you grew up charismatic but got burned by the hype, you belong here.
If you're Reformed or Baptist and something in you wonders if maybe the Spirit is doing more than you were taught, you belong here.
If you've been curious about prophecy but every resource you find either dismisses it or oversells it, you belong here.
We are not going to tell you to check your theology at the door. We're going to do the opposite. We're going to open the Bible together and look carefully at what it actually says, then create space to step out in a community that takes both the Word and the Spirit seriously.
That's the radical middle. And that's what RemCon is built on.

Come Ready.
We say it every year, and we mean it every year: RemCon isn't about a speaker lineup or a weekend experience you can check off. It's about glorifying God, first and foremost. In addition, it's about walking away with a clearer understanding of how God communicates, a more practiced ear for His voice, and a community of people who take the same questions seriously that you do.
"My sheep hear my voice." — John 10:27 (ESV) That's the promise we're building this whole conference around.
